2011 Honda Brio launched in Mumbai

Honda finally took the wraps off its highly awaited small car, the Honda Brio. Brio was undoubtedly one of the most awaited car launches this year as it marks Honda`s debut into the small car segment. The small car segment has enjoyed the dominance of mass players like Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Now enters Honda with its Brio. Pronounced as Br-ee-o, the name is an Italian name meaning "energetic" and "cheerful", thus explaining the characteristics of the car. The Brio has a 1.2L i-VTEC engine that is capable of a power output of 88 PS@6000 rpm and torque figures of 109 Nm @ 600 rpm. It's backed up by a 5-speed manual transmission. The mileage of 2011 Honda Brio is claimed to be 18.4 km/l. Honda is offering the Brio in 4 different variants, which are Honda Brio E MT, Honda Brio S MT, Honda Brio S(O) MT, Honda Brio V MT.
